Effpower history in brief
Effpower AB is
a specialist company within the area of battery systems
engineering. Founded in 1999 and with origin from battery
development and automotive industry we have in-depth knowledge in
battery cell technology and extensive experience of vehicle
applications enabling us to develop and design robust, reliable and
cost competitive battery systems including power electronics and
BMS (battery management system).
We offer customized battery system for hybrid electric and
electric vehicles, wind power, photovoltaic and other industrial
applications. We have extensive experience from vehicle OEM battery
systems and are independent of battery manufacturers and thereby
able to use the battery cells and system designs that best fits

Engineering from concept to final design
Effpower offers engineering services and support along the
development process of a battery system. We log and analyze driving
conditions and load cycles in order to define requirements and the
key dimensioning parameters. We have experience from and available
solutions for many of the system critical challenges such as
quality, cooling, cost and manufacturability. In the system
development we can take responsibility for a complete system
delivery or support selected activities in a client project.
- In our test facilities we test and validate cells, batteries as
well as complete systems.
- In our chemical laboratories we tear down batteries and do
failure mode analysis of different battery chemistries.
- In our workshop we produce demonstrators and prototypes and
also deliver short series of battery packs.
