Effpower was founded in 1999 to commercialize a breakthrough in
bipolar battery technology and has its background and founding from
AB Volvo and Chalmers University of Technology. Effpower offers
complete battery systems and energy storage solutions customized
for applications such as hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), battery
electric vehicles (BEV), wind power, solar cells and photovoltaic
and other industrial applications.
The company has been active in the energy storage area for more
than eleven years and has excellence within battery technology and
electrical energy storage. Over time, critical competences has been
added to the company resulting in an extensive knowledge within
battery technology and chemistry, battery system design, battery
management systems, battery and system safety and also testing and
simulation of battery cells and complete systems. In-house we have
also the experience and facilities for disassembly and chemical
analysis of battery cells. Effpower has internally built up a
selected portfolio of battery cells including a large number of
lithium-ion battery cells and also lead-acid batteries and in
combination with being supplier independent, Effpower can always
recommend and select the battery cells and systems designs that
best fits with the customer application requirements.
After several years of research and product development in
battery technology the company has increased its focus towards
becoming a specialist service provider within battery systems
engineering to support the industry in using the best energy
storage technologies available on the market.
Effpower offers technical pre-studies and
Application Analysis and Specification, Design & Development of complete
battery system solutions and also supplying Demonstrators and
Prototypes including short series of battery packs ready to
install in vehicles, wind power stations and other industrial
applications.
